Interview preparation

What becomes available once an application reaches Interview, and how to practise.

A short video for this article is planned

Until it is recorded, the written steps below are complete on their own.

Steps

  1. Open Applications and move the role to the Interview stage.
  2. Open that application to reach its interview preparation.
  3. Use the preparation tools available with the interview. A paid Interview Prep Kit is a separate role-specific product unless an active Search Pass credit covers it.
  4. Read any generated preparation material against the posting and your attested resume.
  5. Use Practice to work through questions for that role.
  6. Review your practice history and repeat the questions that went poorly.

Worth knowing

  • Practice is preparation, not assessment. Nothing from a practice session is shown to an employer.
  • Answer from your real history. Preparing an answer you cannot stand behind is worse than an honest gap.
  • Open Plan and billing to see recorded Interview Prep Kit credits or purchases; use the current product screen rather than assuming Interview status includes a paid kit.
