Applying and tracking applications
How to record an application, move it through its stages, and keep your list honest.

Steps
- Apply on the employer's own posting. TraceScout does not submit applications for you.
- Mark the role as applied so it appears on your Applications page.
- Open Applications to see everything you have applied for in one list.
- Move a role to Interview when you are invited to one.
- Keep the stage current. The rest of TraceScout reads these stages, so interview preparation only opens once a role reaches Interview.
Worth knowing
- Applications reflect what you record. TraceScout cannot see an employer's system, so nothing updates itself.
