Your resume is the only source.
When you upload your resume, TraceScout breaks it into numbered lines and asks you to attest that they are true. That attested record is the only material TraceScout will ever use to write about you. Tailoring and cover letters never add a skill, a number, or a claim that your attested lines do not support.

TraceScout complements LinkedIn, Indeed and other job boards rather than replacing them. You can explore local and international opportunities available through TraceScout's supported sources, using the existing location filters. Coverage varies by source and country; not every vacancy is included. Check the original posting for requirements. A listing does not guarantee visa sponsorship, work authorization or eligibility to work in that location.

After you review and attest your source resume, TraceScout compares that evidence with job requirements and presents a match score, strengths and gaps. These model-based assessments support your judgment; they are not independent verification of your qualifications. A match does not guarantee an interview, an employer response or a job offer.

No. Job-specific wording must stay grounded in your candidate-attested source resume, without adding unsupported skills, qualifications or achievements. Tailored resumes are checked against that source; unsupported wording must not pass. You review your source information and the prepared resume before using it. This source check is not independent verification of your employment or qualifications.
What can employers do in the Hiring Workspace?
Employers use a separate Hiring Workspace to add real jobs and review participating candidates against job requirements, including internal match results, strengths and gaps. Candidate participation requires invitation and acceptance, and workspace access is restricted to authorized members. These assessments support the hiring team's judgment; they do not make hiring decisions or guarantee outcomes.
I'm an EmployerHow does the Agency Portal work?
Agencies work in a separate portal: invite candidates who accept participation, add clients and real job orders, then score and review candidates internally. Request a tailored resume and wait for its check against the candidate-attested source before generating a client link. The client-facing verification page does not expose internal scores, strengths or gaps.

For account or personal-data deletion requests, contact us. Self-service account deletion is not currently available; privacy requirements and applicable retention obligations must be reviewed.
A separate source check reviews every line.
Every tailored resume is checked line by line against your attested source before you see it. This separate check does not see the job posting. It answers one question only: does your attested resume support this line? A tailored resume is marked verified only when every line passes that source check. TraceScout does not independently verify employment, qualifications, or skills.
Cover letters are checked claim by claim.
When you ask for a cover letter, TraceScout writes it from the same attested resume and checks every claim against your source lines. A cover letter is only marked verified when every claim passes. If a claim cannot be supported, the letter is refused.
Sometimes the honest answer is no.
When a truthful tailored resume or cover letter cannot be verified, TraceScout declines and tells you so, and your resume stays untouched. We consider a refusal a feature, not a failure. It means the same discipline that protects an employer from an inflated resume is protecting you from sending one.
Interview preparation.
You can also practise your answers. Type what you would say, and TraceScout checks every sentence against your attested resume, showing which claims stand on it and which do not, along with whether you answered the question, gave a specific example, and stated a result. It never writes the answer for you and never gives a score.
