Community User Guide

How the Career Insider Community works, what members can do and how your privacy is protected.

The community is not available yet. This guide describes how it will work when it opens.

Coming soonOfficial announcement · TraceScout Editorial

Career Insider is in preparation

We are preparing two editorial resources for job seekers, employers and agencies. Neither is available yet.

Career Q&A library

Practical answers on resumes, interviews, offers and career changes, written by TraceScout Editorial and reviewed before publication, with sources for time-sensitive topics.

Remote and international hiring intelligence

Employer information will be shown only after a person has checked it against the employer's own or official sources, with the date it was checked and when it expires. No employers are listed yet.

Remote eligibility and visa sponsorship vary by employer and by country. Remote work does not mean sponsorship, and nothing here is immigration advice or a guarantee of a job.

1.Browse, search and filter

  • Sign in to read discussions. Use Browse for all topics and Experiences for career changes, working abroad and life at work.
  • Filter by category or by a two-letter country code such as CA. Choose Recent activity, Newest discussions or Not marked answered.
  • Title search and ordering cover the latest 30 loaded discussions, not the entire community. Pinned discussions appear first.

2.Ask a question

  • Choose a category, optionally a country, then write a title of 8 to 140 characters and a post of 20 to 5,000 characters.
  • Email addresses are blocked and posts may include no more than two links.
  • To limit spam you can start up to 3 discussions an hour and 10 a day.

3.Reply, helpful votes and answers

  • Replies need 2 to 3,000 characters. You can post up to 20 replies an hour and 60 a day. Locked discussions accept no new replies.
  • Mark a reply helpful to show it was useful; select it again to remove your vote.
  • Only the person who started a discussion can mark one reply as the answer. An answer reflects that member’s choice, not an independent check.

4.Reporting and moderation

  • Report a post for spam, a job advertisement, personal information, harassment, being off topic or another reason. You can send up to 10 reports an hour and 20 a day.
  • The TraceScout platform owner reviews reports and can hide posts, lock discussions and pin discussions. Reporters are never identified to other members.

5.Privacy

  • Posts show no names, and other members cannot see who wrote or reported a post. You see a marker only on your own posts.
  • There are no private messages. When your account is deleted, your Community contributions are anonymized and remain hidden until privacy review. Copies held outside TraceScout cannot be recalled.

6.Community guidelines

  • Be respectful and practical. Keep contact details, private information and job advertisements out of discussions.
  • Member advice is not independently verified. Check important decisions with official sources or a qualified professional.

7.Country and language

  • Country is optional and shown with its local name and code. Screens are available in English, French and Spanish; member posts and replies appear exactly as written and are not translated.
